Hello New World
Gonna try to keep it short and sweet this time.
Well I have now officially been selected as the next LCP of AIESEC Madison. I don't really think the full weight of this has quite sunk in yet though. This has been a challenege I've been rearin' to take on for quite some time and - while the amount of work is certainly daunting - I'm excited about having this level of involvement in something that has so profoundly changed my life.
I also started back at school today, a truly harrowing experience. I haven't sat in a class room for nearly a year and half and being at the other end of the classroom, after having spent so many months at the front of it during my traineeship in China was a significant change in perspecitive though I must say it was somewhat refreshing. Most difficult of all will certainly be Arabic. Not only have I not taken an Arabic class in over a year - but I've spent the better part of the last year learning an entirely different language.
My interest in these two parts of the world (China and the Middle East) are I'd say about equally strong. It will be a tough decision indeed when I choose which one to pursue beyond graduation....
Until then I leave you with this:
